wat the diff bt this 2 transaction..

can we create infotype in both method?

PPCI (Personnel Planning Infotype Copier)

PM01 (Personnel Administration Infotype Copier)

PM01 is for PA infotype and PPCI is for OM infotype i think

Actually there are two main modules in HR

They are

1) PA - Personnel Administration

2) PD - Personnel Development.

<b>PA - Personnel Administration</b>.

Sub modules of PA are

1) Employee Management

2) Applicant Management

3) Time management

4) Benefits administration

5) Compensation administration

6) Incentive wages

7) Payroll

8) Travel management

Infotypes are 0000 – 0999

<b>PD - Personnel Development</b>

Sub modules of PD are

1) Organizational Management

2) Seminar and conventional management

3) Personnel development

4) Work force management

5) Rooms reservation planning

Infotypes are 1000 – 1999

So the transaction code <b>PM01</b> is used to create PA info types and transaction code <b>PPCI</b> is used to create PD info types.
