qm inspection lot

we have problem iselect inspection type 03in qm tab in material master also menton mic in routing after creating production order inspection lot is created but in inspection lot there is error that inspection specification not yet assign what is solution ple send reply

Dear, please check the following

In Material master, QM view in the insp type 03 details

check box-insp with material specification

Check box-insp with task list

In the above check box, which one ticked?

If both are ticked then you need to maintian material specification in QS61, or remove this tick from check box-insp with material specification in material master

Check routing is valid as per the validity, lot size etc.

then goto Qa02 and goto insp specification tab page

Click on task/spec push button.

Please come back if you donot get the solution

As far as I can see the last reply answers the customers question without leaving any question open

Hi,

Go to transaction "mm02" and slect QM view. Click the "inspection set up"and check whether check box inspection with material specification is acitve. If yes, then you have to assign material specification.

Please let me know if ti is working.

go to T code QA32 select the inspection lot and check whether the assigned MIC is available or not, if not please check once again whether you have assinged MIC in routing for that particualar material and version
