Obsolete statements in ECC with respect to 4.5b

This is really very urgent.i need an information on Obsolete Statements in ECC 6.0 with respect to 4.5B R/3 Version.please help me..

If you see the ABAP help/documentation in ECC6.0

it is clearly mentioned what are the obsolete commands are.

Hi,

SAP is backwards compatible. Having said that, it means that though you upgrade from SAP 4.5B to ECC6.0, SAP will support obsolete statements as well for all existing programs.

But if you are upgrading from 4.5B to ECC6.0 UNICODE system, then you need to modify the programs accordingly.

eg.

TRANSLATE wont be supported in Unicode environment.

Instead you need to use CL_ABAP_CONV_IN_CE=>UCCP method for the same.

Thanx once again.here we are upgrading from 4.5b to Ecc 6.0..i just need to find out all the statements which are obsolete in Ecc 6.0.Do u have any list on this.regarding unicode,at present we are not considering dat.so please help me in getting the list of obsolete statements in Ecc 6.0 if you have any.

Hi,

Above post has all the ABAP statements which are obsolete.

Goto SE38 & type RPR_ABAP_SOURCE_SCAN

& Execute. Enter the ABAP Obsolete statements in the search text & execute. Search for all Z programs. You will get a list of programs which are impacted.

Estimate the effort for those impacted programs & then modify them.

The program RPR_ABAP_SOURCE_SCAN.Do i have to run this in Ecc 6.0..coz we have nt given an access to Ecc 6.0 yet..and in 4,5b,,this prgram is unavailable.

..I was just asked to get the list of obsolete statements in Ecc 6.0.

Could you please gimme some idea as to where i will get list.
