Have you specified FQDN (Fully Qualified Domain Name) for the WAS Host Name?

Hi,

I can only suggest you to remove the SSO configuration and do it again.

Or check the SICF settings, I am not sure which one but all your WAS is managed by that transaction only. I dont have system with me right now otherwise I would have checked and told you.

Please ensure that you have provided the WEB AS SERVER and PATH details while creating system.

Usually they are like \webdynpro\dispatcher...

Hope this helps!

Hi,

Thanks for ur replies.I gave the fully qualified name and portnumber as 8000.

Also i had given WAS path as /sap/bc/bsp.Is this the correct path?

NO!

use web as path as: /sap/bc/webdynpro

in WEB AS SERVER give FQDN and port no.

under ITS path provide: sap/bc/gui/sap/its

also select http from dropdown menu!

Hi Atul,

Thanks again for ur answer.I have tried changing the WAS path as u specified and im getting the same popup for this also. If i use user mapping it is working fine without asking uid/pwd in popup and i think im missing something in WAS details only.

In that case I will ask you again to check the system properties.

There is an option to use SAP Assertion Ticket or SAP Logon Ticket-check that.

then go to SAP user management and choose SAP Logon Ticket.

There is nothing wrong with the WAS properties, since they remain same like this only.

One basic thing...SSO works only if the EP user id and the SAP user id are same? I believe you know this.

Secondly check the whole process with some other user who exists in your portal as well as SAP system.

Please update the thread accordingly.
