8020Failed to initialize lenguage Failed connect to the company's database

Hi to all,

I have got error at the time of loading add-ons in SAP B! 2005 B, PL 25 in one node machine having OS winXP, MS Office 2003.

Error Message is " 8020Failed to initialize lenguage Failed connect to the company's database "

The same user is working fine on other machines.

Addon not loaded.

Can i get guidence from anybody plz.

Hi,

Browse to the user's temp folder on the machine (easiest way to get there is to choose Start--Run and then type

%temp%

and click OK. In there you should find a folder called SM_OBS_DLL (this holds temporary data for the DI API). Delete this and then start SBO. The folder will rebuild itself and you should no longer get the error.
