hi gurus

new custom screen is developed , when ever user fills the data in the custom screen and saves it , event should trigger and it should go for the approvers . i planned to create the event through the functional module to raise that event SWE_EVENT_CREATE, now at which point i want to place this call function , in order to trigger the event .

You should put in the PAI section. You should put the FM SY-UCOMM = `SAVE` . You can check this code for reference.

Short answer: nowhere

Longer answer: you should use SAP_WAPI_CREATE_EVENT (this has been around for so long that I will just assume it is available in your system).

When your PAI code handles the user commands (syst-ucomm) you will perhaps have a subroutine for saving data. In the same routine you should call the function module (after checking that sy-subrc is zero from the data saving. You could even add "IN UPDATE TASK" if you want to make it fancy

Hi Vijay,

In PAI you need to call this Function Module.
