What is the meaning of global company code?

Can u explain me in details if possible example?

Iam not understanding what is exactly?

Hi Kowshik,

The Global Company Codes are created for particular purpose and ther focus is global. Say, A comapny code is created as Paying company code (instance comes in APP), it is responsible for all the payments on behalf of the other comapny codes ( as per the policy).

Company codes which are involved in document entry for external SAP systems (ICT) as the sender or receiver. This type of company code must have a cross-system company code ID (such as EUROPA) in addition to their local company code ID (such as 0001).

Company codes that are set up for ALE distribution scenarios.

Global company is nothing but the "Company" what we define....is also called as "trading partner" - used in SPL - a seperate ledger assigned to these - along with that seperate reports also possible like consolidaton
