Issue when Using Broadcaster Web-item in WAD Report

Hi Gurus,

The launch_broadcaster web item in web app designer is not executing sucessfully, I suspect this feature is similar to SEND function when the Query from Query Designer is launched thru web. Please advise if I have to make any additional settings.

Hi Gurus,

I was able to sucessfully configure the Launch_Broadcaster. Now the broadcast settings in web template work same as the one when we launch the query to web from query designer(SEND, button function). However the broadcaster in web template(WAD) does not have XML(Ms Excel) output format. It has only MHTML, HTML, PDF & Online Link to Current Data.

Is there a setting we need to perform in order to have XML(Excel) output format in WAD reports. Please advise.

I was able to fix this. To include broadcasting output to Excel, we need to select BI_Object as "Data provider [Query View ......] in the launch_broadcaster web-item.

Can you give detail example how to go about it?

Also, any suggestions on how to go for broadcaster enhancement in Bex BW 3.5?
