Single Sign On - Suggestion

We have our Portal (EP 7.0) running on a dual stack engine. Our portal is accessed with the link http://<company>:50100/irj/portal

We also have another J2EE application (Biller Direct) deployed on the Java Stack (using SDM) of the same engine. This application is accessed with the link http://<company>:50100/bd

We have integrated the Biller Direct application into Portal (created a URL iView) and we are trying to achieve Single Sign On.

When I click on the Biller Direct iView from within the Portal, I am asked to Login again. (Single Sign On not achieved)

Questions:

1. Can we use the “MYSAPSSO2” ticket issued to the user who logged onto the portal for logging onto the Biller Direct application and achieve Single Sign On?

2. Are the “MYSAPSSO2” tickets issued for both Portal and Biller Direct one and the same?

3. Does the J2EE engine recognize the ticket issued for the portal user (by default)?

4. What is the best approach to achieve Single Sign on in our scenario?

Please suggest.

Thanks,

Kalyan
