The very purpose of having COPA is to ascertain the profitability of product/ product groups based on various segments. So without SD, COPA is meaningless. I dont undersand the objective of implenting COPA when SD is not there.
If you are implementing COPA without SD model you need create it account based COPA. So basically identifying characteristics and accounts that needs to be mapped to COPA will be the main tasks. How clients needs the reporting is also imp.
We do have characteristics identified. They are non physical product like various negotiations per company code. How do we configure these without SD or MM model? Where do we map the accounts in COPA? When you say what kind of reporting, will the reporting require a differnt configuration. The client wants to track revenue and expenses of the products. Thanks.
