Hi,

when i run a query i get the following errors

1. Error when generating dataProvider

2. The (sub) formula is not available

can someone help me fix it.

Open the query in Query Designer n <b>CHECK</b> for any errors ...correct accordingly.

Check if the Infoprovider is active...jst in case.

i am currently opening the query in Query designer only. and what do u mean check for errors. when i open the query in query designe and hit display query on the web. i get these 2 mssgs. This query is of a Multi Provider and yes it is active.

I jst meant to click " Check " to see if it gives any long text for the errors.

Hi Kim

Try to run this query in RSRT and see if you get the results...may be just needs to be regenerated.

Are you using version 3.5? Also, are you creating some complex Calculated Key figure?

You can check the note 835284.

Saket yeah i am using version 3.5 and yes i have alot of Calculated key figures and its not possible for me to go and look into these CKF's there ae too many one CKF is used in another and so on like node.. is there a way to rectify this sub error?
