How to add system in SLD?

Hi Afi,

Can you please be a bit clear do you want to add the satelite system in Solution Manager or do you want to make a central SLD and add your systems in that.

If you want to add systems in your central SLD this can be done while installing your fresh system when it asks for using a central SLD (pre existing) or configuring a new one for the system.

So this can be done only during fresh installation as you have to maintain various settings in terms of RFc's.

But if you want to add your satellite systems in Solution Manager Box..Please follow the below listed steps:

1) Go to TC SMSY.

2) In the Server tabs add your server and give all the details (FQDN, IP,etc)

3) In the database tab give your database type and version.

4) In the system tabs give the details of the client that existis in the satellite system and the client want to monitor you will have to select it and generate RFC's

there are 2 ways to do it...wizard and mannual..you can go by any one u like.

5) Then you will have to create a Solution for monitoring and add your systems logical component in it.

The rest configuration after adding the systems follows.

Hope this will give a slight idea about your querry..Rest u can always post the issues u face during the above stated steps.
