Additonal Personal Data link in ESS

There now exists a new link on the ESS personal information page:

Ethnicity, Disability and Military Status (Additional Personal Data)

Enter, Change or Delete your Additional Personal Data.

Although when you select it you get the error Page not found or not available.

The service and resource exist (EMPLOYEE_ADD_PERSDATA_UK_SERVICE05) in the homepage framework and the resource even has a pcd:

pcd:portal_content/com.sap.pct/every_user/com.sap.pct.erp.ess.bp_folder/com.sap.pct.erp.ess.iviews/com.sap.pct.erp.ess.personal_information/com.sap.pct.erp.ess.gb/com.sap.pct.erp.ess.additionalpdata/com.sap.pct.erp.ess.additionapdata

We are using EP7 ECC 6.0 -

Is this a genuine service or a service about to be released?

Hi Rob,

The link is very much available as I am able to save the data on EP-7.

Please check the configuration setup under Home page frame work and in specific the resource page and the RFC system entries ( that needs to be connected with the backend system).

Thanks for the reply Narasimha,

We have patched our ESS package from 1.0 SP6 to SP10 and the Additional personal data link now works. I can now find this service available in the PCD under ESS personal data for the UK i-views.

Not sure which patch it arrived in but if you go to SP10 then it will be available.
