Display BPS attached documents in BEX reports

Former Member

Hello BPS gurus,

We have created BPS layouts with document attachment abilities.

I would like to see the document in a BEX report and it doesn't work.

I entered RSA1-->Documents and didn't manage to see the documents in there.

Any suggestion?

Thanks in advanced

Miri

Hi Miri retter,

Iam able to see the comments in Bex report in the form of attached link for each record, but my requirement is to dispay comments for the all the records at a time instead of executing the link every time for each record.

Go to RSA1>Documents->Infoprovider leave the blank for infoprovider and click on to show the comments tab.There you can able to see all the document comments.

If your not able to see your document comments, it is due to authorisation problem.

and check Query properties->Display Tab->Documentation.

you can able to see document link attached to each record.

If there is any better way how to display the comments in attached links when the user executes the query? please suggest.

Thanks,

Maheswari.

Hi Miri,

I have got exactly same requirement to implement. Documents/Comments attached in BW-BPS planning layouts needs to be available in reports. As you said i couldn't find them in BW Document repository.

Can you let me know if you could have resolved this issue.

Hi,

If you want to see documentation in reports

Goto Query properties->Display Tab->Documentation.

There you will specify the settings.

Hope this Helps

Hi Karthik,

Thank you for replying my question.

I've already checked the documentation check boxes.

The issue is that I still can't find the documents, not in the query and not in the documentation repository.

Do you have any other ideas?

Thanks in advanced

Hi Miri,

There is also a check box available to be ticked in the Characteristics too...

Merry Christmas
