Possible to create ESS account automaticly ?

Hi,

My SAP software are SAP HR, EP6 and ECC 6 on Netweaver 2004.

I plan to use ESS and MSS but need to create several user account for my employees (14000 user for 30000 user file in SAP HR).

Is there a simple way to automaticly create account ?

Create sapusername in ECC

Put Roles and authorization in ECC

Create user portal

Put Roles and authorization in portal

I see some using the HRUSER transaction to create R/3 user but Is is possible to make batch and manage role and user portal ?

Its not tried and tested but I am sure you can do this using hruser transaction itself. but creating portal users can be achieved throught ldap.

I need a process from SAP => Portal and not from LDAP => SAP.

As ESS is for Employees, is there a mecanism to tell SAP to create account for user in SAP HR ?

if your user base is R/3 then we can try.

two approches

1. hr user transaction can be run in bg

2. the roles can be assigned in hrp infotype with positions so this can be done throught 105 user attachment
