SLD Installation - SLDAPICUST

Former Member

Hi all,

I'm following SLDInstallation guide post installation steps. Section 5.4 Maintaining SLD Connection Parameters states:

  1. Call transaction SLDAPICUST.
  2. Switch to editing mode and choose Insert Row. Specify the connection parameters (host name, port, user,
and password)and set this SLD server as Primary.

Here I add a new row to the table but the password column is not editable so I can't enter the proper data.

If I call transaction SLDCHECK I get:

No SLD server access data maintained
=> Use transaction SLDAPICUST to maintain the SLD server access data
Summary: Connection to SLD does not work
=> Check SLD function and configurations

Please, I need some help here.

Thanks,

Juan Manuel

Hi all,

I solved the problem. It was a bug in the Java GUI. I installed the Windows GUI and transaction SLDAPICUST worked fine.

Thanks for your help,

Juan Manuel

What happens when you insert a new row? Is it possible to set a password there?

Hi Pascal,

Yes, I changed to edit mode. The password column is the only I cannot edit.

Hi Juan,

Password column/field is a push-button. Once you click that button the pop-up window will appear in which you can enter the password.

Hi Juan,

Did you go into change mode?

under menu item "tabl"e -> display <-> change

then it should be possible to change the password.

Cheers,

Pascal
