asset accounting, deactive fields

dear colleagues

from customizing, i want to make some fields as mandatory under the "Master Data / User Fields / Enter Your User Fields in Asset Class". but fields cannot be changed because they come deactive. how can i fix this problem

hi Melih,

go for the following path in SPRO:

...

Master data

Screen layout

Define screen layout for...

here you can set up the fields as mandatory

Hi Melih,

The path which Eric given is right. In the custmizing menu 'Define Screen Layout for Asset Master Data', you can change the logic field group rule setting of field group 4 ' allocations' . If you want the field as a mandatroy AND default for asset class, you should active the indicator 'Entry allowed in asset class' for the field group as well.
