Portal RunTime Error..

Hi All,

I want to configure my portal with xRPM(x Application Resourse Portfalio Mgmt) 4.0 for that i have created a system, Connection test for the System are fine..

i have created a USER in portal.. When i log on with the Crediantials of that user i get the Error i.e

<b>Portal Runtime Error

An exception occurred while processing a request for :

iView : N/A

Component Name : N/A

Unknown Logon Method '' for system 'xxSystem Name xx'.

See the details for the exception ID in the log file</b>

i can not figure it out that what is wrong with this System ..

Any help regarding this topic will be highly Appretiated And rewarded with points so sure...its Urgent !

Hi,

Open System Properties. Check the logon method u have set in User Mapping.

Hi Hareni,

I have checked it rt now and changed it to USID and done User Mapping.. Connection for the System is fine..

but when i log on with the Created User credentials

it now gives me this ERROR ...

Hi,

This denotes some resouce required for the system doesn't exist. I advice you can redo the steps with a new system name. Give the system properties and then create alias. Now do user mapping and check. If it works, then go ahead and check the iView from the user account who uses that iView and that system. Hope that will help u get the right procedure.
