SRM-MDM catalog: Application Server needed?

Hi all,

Some easy points to get...

Are the Search UI and the Config UI (and hence the AS Java) required when the catalog is only used from an SAP SRM system?

This seems to be the case, but it is never stated as clearly as I'd like to have it...

Hi Denis,

Yes the search UI and the Config UI would be required when the catalog is used from SRM other wise how are u going to going to make use of the UI's

so hence they wud be required wen used from SRM.
