Processing status in SP01 says 'No Output Request Exists'

Hi all,

I am printing an invoice in the form of a Smartform. Only for a particular plant 'X', I need to print in a particular printer 'Y', or else by default it will be print in the local printer.

<b>When I execute the invoice for the plant X, it selects Y as the printer which I can see in the output. But when I go to SP01, I find the status as '-' which means 'Spool request has not yet been sent to the host spool system (no output request exists)'. The printer Y is also displayed under Title</b>

However, for any other plant, it is printing in the local printer as per the requirement.

How do I rectify this?

Please assist.

If the same invoice is printing correctly in other printers, this is something to do with SAP printer configuration.

Compare the printer config in SPAD or take help from BASIS guys

Hi,

Any spool request is created when click on the print. If spool request is generated then only you can see it in SP01.

Hi,

Check the setting <b>'Print options'</b> in output selecitons.

Check the <b>print immediately</b> check box.

Give the <b>spool request name</b>:

After you have issued print system will show you print details.

in <b>spool control box.</b>

Check the box for <b>delete after output</b>.

Check the box for <b>New spool request</b>.
