Retro not to be done in case of a particular employeegroup

Hi Experts,

i have a situation where the client wants that if the employee is getting promoted from one employee group to another then the arrears should not be calculated on the Overtime wage type whereas it should be calculated in all other cases like if the employee is getting promoted within the same employee subgroup.

Eg: overtime is applicable on the Workers category only. Now if the employee is getting promoted to Executive category from a back date for which the overtime has already been paid to the employee, the arrears should not be calculated and paid to the employee. But if the employee is promoted within the same employee group say withing worker level, the the overtime arrears should be paid to him.

Plz tell me how to handle this situation?

Kunal

Hi,

Then you can change the characterstics of that wagetype in either T511 or V512W_D.

Hope this helps,

Try controlling this in overtime calculation PCR For the new executive employee group/subgroup, who doesn't have overtime, skip the overtime calculation by writing a new rule for ESG.
