Hello,
I am trying to deploy the latest Java Libs sca using SDM (upgraded to latest version).
Every time try and add the package SAPJBASIS20_0-10001916.sca which I donwloaded from the SAP Marketplace it tells me:
sapcd/EP60SP2/SAPJBASIS20_0-10001916.SCA is neither a SWC (Software Delivery Catalog) nor a SDA (Software Delivery Archive). Please choose another file.
The file was uploaded to the server using BIN mode.
The strange thing is that on my PC it can actually be opened as a zip file.
An yadvise on how to get pass this problem and deploy the new Java Libs?
Thanks
Hi Adriaan,
You need to extract the files onto your pc first and then choose the individual .SDA files.
Regards
Andy

After I downloaded the file SAPJBASIS20_0-10001916.SCA.ZIP, I then upload this file (leave the way the file is)to the UNIX server and take off the .ZIP, and I was able to add this single SCA file to the SDM.
When I downloaded the file pviewer.ear from SAP OSS note 766839 to my PC, my PC downloaded as .ZIP file as well. Again, I uploaded the file as the way it is to my UNIX server, and rename it to pviewer.ear, deploy it successfully.
My guess is the way how my PC (Windows XP and Winzip) translated when I downloaded these SCA and EAR files. format.
