IS RETAIL regarding STOs

Hi all,

Say a store is mapped to 2 DCs - D1 and D2 and I am raising a STO for D1.

If stock is not available in D1, is it possible in IS RETAIL for an STO to get generated AUTOMATICALLY through D2 which holds the stock ( supply source determination ) without manual intervention of changing the DC name from D1 to D2.

No automation is possible for this process.

This kind of automation is not possible in IS Retail.

But if your Business Process Permits you can use Quota arrangement assuming that the stocks for the article are always present in both DC's, so that you will receive atleast some stocks form Either of the DC's even if one of the DC does not have stocks. You can use these stocks for sale and you will have some extra time for raising a new Indent for the DC Holding stocks.
