ECC - 6 INSTALLATION

Hi Everybody

While installing ECC -6 , it gives the message box while checking phase of DDIC password . "Test Logon to SAP SYSTEM ECE failed " .

Kindly advice me what i will do the resolv this issue and continue the installation

it shud be 07061992 ...

and try to search these things before just posting it on SDN......

Hi Impact,

Please logon into the system using SAP* use and unlock and reset DDIC password. After that continue with the installation. Make sure that the value of profile parameter login/no_automatic_user_sapstar is set to 0

Hi ,

Did you enter a proper password of DDIC?

If you have forgot the same then, try to reset it using SAP*

and even if that does not work delete the user on database level and it will be re-created with the default password .....
