7.6.03.07 is supported on all platforms, that are listed there for a SAP system.

This is really the question.

We are installing maxdb together with our product using freeware something license (legal dept. handling the license stuff). So I need to know what platform we can install maxdb 7.6.03. build 7, because only windows and linux are available for free download. But there are different linuxes out there.... And information about supported platforms is so confusing....What should I write in release notes???? What platform are supported under free license???

Hi Anya,

the MaxDB version 7.6.03 Build 07 released on SDN can be used on the following platforms:

Windows 32 bit

Windows 64 bit (X86_64)

Please be reminded that this might work on Windows Vista, but it is not officially supported yet.
