In Service Call window in Add Mode the Call ID : 6 (Successive no.)
Once after entering a customer code and name in Service Call Window, If I cancel the transaction without pressing ADD button, the Call ID of the no. 6 is getting Blocked
and again if i am going to add a new service call it is starting with Call ID :7
I am working on Patch Level 25
Please solve the Issue
Dear Frank,
I am not talking abt the issue after Adding Service Call.
I am talking about the issue if you cancel the call before adding the Call.
Please refer and correct me if i was mistaken

This is the standard behavior of the Service module. Document Numbering is not enabled for the Service Call. SAP is storing the next available document number some where in their tables but I haven't been able to find it yet. One alternative might be to use a UDF on the Service Call header and apply a formatted search to it so that it looks up a value in a User-defied table that you manage. You would need a stored procedure that incremented the value in the User-defined table each time a Service Call was added. This would have the same effect as the Document Numbering for Marketing documents.
Ranjith,
It seems like a Bug. Please refer Note 1074225 - Missing Call ID in Service Call
