Resources assigned to service order in Resource planning

Hi Experts,

I have querry in the resource planning in Service order management in CRM 5.0.

Once the resource is allocated (After referring the ranking the list) to the released service order in Resource planning Tool, Is there any way to send info to the assigned resource regarding this assignement within CRM.

Hi,

If you are using the BSP Application WFDS_RPA for this then it is possible. You can have groupware integration.

Hi Basavaraj,

After you have assigned the resource to the service order, you can intimate the resource using phone, email or sms. For the same, you have a button on top of the screen(send short message)to send the information to the engg. You need to have SCOT configured to send a mail

Hi Rekha,

Thanks for your helpful answer. Of course we can send E- mail to assigned resource from CRM.Can we configure mail form(Template) for this mail like in Marketing personalized mail forms??

And also I wanted to know is there any other options like Action profile to create activity or something like that which would be updated in resource's calender??
