Hello,

text1,text2.....are fields in the table or records in the table?

Can you give clear picture of your requirement

Hi Pavan,

The text1, text2 are records in the table

and the descreption records of another field in the same table.

I want to concatenate these two in a textfield and the text1, text2...to be bold.

Using two textfield is not useful for my project.

I have read about Rich text but it can not play for me.

Thank you ,

Ari

Still not clear. Is number of records fixed in the table! if so how many records will come, if not suppose if you have 10 records how you have to display

Hi Pavan,

Suppose i have 10 records in a table with one field type char.

I want with rich text to determine part of the field to be bold.

Example:

Description1:Text1

Description2:Text2

.................

...................

Description10:Text10

I read this Blog but it dont work for me.

I think you have to use floating filed.

Click inside the Static Text object in which you want to place the floating Text Field object.

Place your cursor on the line where you want Designer to insert the floating Text Field object.

Select Insert > Floating Field( from designer memu).

To set the properties of the Floating Field, click the Floating Field marker inside the Static Text object, and then select options as needed. It is good practice to rename the floating Text Field object and specify the necessary binding.

in your case you have use 2 fileds , 1 for description , 1 for text.for 2nd field make bold in the properties.

static text, description and text fields should be in subform.

Inside static text filed, after binding it will appera as below.

Hi Pavan,

Floating Field you mean to use Text Field Object from the Standart Library right?

If yes i know this way.

I want to use rich text and i dont know why this cannot work as in the blog.

The Description and the text will be displayed dynamically from the table.

And my problem in this way is because i business use is for labels and the display is not the way we want.

Is bit dificult to explain it know.

I want if you know to use rich text this will work for me.

Thank you
