defaulting field in asset accounting

dear colleagues,

In tcode AS01, i want to make ORD43 field (evaluation group3) at the allocations tab to be default as 0000 and cannot be changed by anyone, except authorizations given to certain people, ones asset is saved.

i need your suggetions

hi Melih,

I think you can only do this through validation. Create a set with name of users who are allowed to change, otherwise check if the field is 0000.
