KKS1 Performing very slow

Hi,

SAP Gurus,

Need a help on KKS1 Transaction

KKS1 Period End Closing for Production order is working very slow. When I am runing for a particular period and a particular plant it is taking more than 6 to 7 hrs. It is not giving any dump in between. We have checked the parameters also, it is all okay. Please help.

Hi,

For improving performance of KKS1, you need to set all the old Production Orders for deletion. We did this for one of our clients, where-in runtime has been reduced considerably from 6-7 hrs to 10 minutes.

Jobs like this you have to run in Back ground and in the night or weekend.

During test run itself it is taking 6 to 7 hrs. Another thing is it is takin all the Production Order whichever are confirm. Ho to limit those as there is no field this in KKS1.
