Double entries in RG23A Part 1

Hi All,

I am facing a double entry posting problem in RG23A part 1. we r working in ECC 6.0.i am purchasing material for project stock. while GRN i am just capturing excise invoice and posting in J1IEX. when i see the posted document in Display mode in J1IEX, two postings are posted for the same material document for the 101 mvt type.the direction is shown as receipts for the first line and issue for the second line for the same GR line item. the quantities in register are also showing the same.

in excise group config i have not ticked the cunsumption in part 1 tab.

the same double postings are happening for stock items and assets also.

another important thing is that without J1I5, the registers are getting updated.

please help me in solving the double postings.

Hi,

As you are procuring the material against Project stock, while doing MIGO the stock is posted directly to Project i.e. the stock is consumed against the project. So there are two entried for receipt and issue.

For RG23A P1 receipts the updation is not necessary.
