Hi
I have got a list of function module in txt file
I want to test whether these are obsolete function module or they still exists in ECC 6 server.
How to proceed ?

Hi Sumant,
Goto RODIR Table and select object type as FUNC and exeucte, you will get list of all Function modules.

Use table RODIR . U can find a column OBSOLETE in the table.If the value of this column is X , then the object is obsolete.

In SAP ECC 6.0 there are 1020 obsolete FM's. You can find this out by going to the table RODIR. In the selection Screen give the OBJECTTYPE as FUNC and OBSOLETE as X. You will get the list.
For your particular requirement get all the FM's in the txt file to an ITAB(there are FM's for this) and then compare it to the entries in RODIR which has OBSOLETE as X.

Hi Sumant,
You check these function modules using transaction <b>UCCHECK</b>. Give their name in <b>Object name</b> and execute it. You will get error messages for obsolete ones.
