Copying entire package

Hi,

Can we copy entire package having dictionary objects,pgms,includes,tcodes....

Goto Se80 - > Select the PKG- . Click the 'OtherObject' -> Select Copy.

Its giving error 'Internal error CREATE_PACKAGE in SAPLPB_PACKAGE' when i am trying to do above steps

Hi,

1. Go to SE84 ---> Repository Information System ---> Development Coordination -


> Packages ---> Enter your Package Name -


> Press F8.

2. It displays your Package. Just check the chack box ---> Goto Package[Menu Bar] ---> Copy.

3. Target Structure --> Enter your New Package Name.

hi abishak,

It is possible with Basis admin,ie if create new client and transport it,whatever u want.

Hi Abhishek,

You can copy your package but i doubt whether you will get all the programs of the old package to your new package.In that case you have copy each and evry request of your old package to your new package.
