*URGENT* F.07 shows different balance (test run) as compared to FD10

Hi SAP Gurus,

We have the following issue

FD10N is showing P12 ending balance of KRW 83,898,721.

However, from while doing test run for F.07 (balance carried forward), the balance is showing as KRW 82,886,514.

There is a difference of KRW 1,012,207.

Could you please let us know what could be the reason for this difference?

Thanks for your prompt response.

I have checked if any entry was posted wih "document date" in current period (P1 / 2008) and with "posting date" in previous period (P12 / 2007). But no such entries could be found.

Is there anyother way I could check for differences?? Does clearing has anything to cause the difference??

Hi,

Postings in the previous year do increase this balance carried forward, but do not carry forward the total of the items already posted in the old year to the new year; the balance carried forward only has the items posted by the new year into the previous year, but not the items posted in the previous year itself.
