Utilising Extended Idoc segments via FM MASTER_IDOC_DISTRIBUTE

Hi Folks,

I have created an extension ZSHPCONX to Basic Idoc Type DELVRY03 of message type SHPCON, and assigned the extension to the basic type via the WE82 transaction. I am populating the idoc segments, including the newly created extensions in a user exit and wish to distribute the idoc via the MASTER_IDOC_DISTRIBUTE function module.

Do I need to do anything specific for the MASTER_IDOC_DISTRIBUTE function to recognise the newly extended segments, or does the master_idoc_distribute FM simply process all segment details in the MASTER_DATA_IDOC table, irrespective of whether it is SAP standard or an Extended segment?

hi you have to fill EDIDC-CIMTYP

also u have to give the extension name in WE20 and WE82
