Former Member

Hi,

I have succesfuly created a new application track in landscape configurator of CMS.

In the track the dependencies were automaticly brought in like they should.

But under Transport Studio under Check-In tab, there are no entries at all for me to check in.

Any idea what is missing?

Thank you.

Hi,

You can do the following checks:

1) If you are trying to check in by coping to the CMS inbox then you can just give inbox in the "Configure checkin option" , if you have copied inside a directory "EPS" inside the inbox then u cud give inbox\EPS

2) If you are trying to chek in from a particular location like "D:\usr\sap\trans\EPS\in" (from the error log) then check if the location is present. But I think that in configur checkin option you give relative path and not absolute path

3) Check if your transport directory is fine and if it is shared.

The links below will give you more details on check in of archives, Transport Directory

Hi,

In the Configure Check-In Options, inbox is defined

From the documentation, I should be able to select the proper SCA files (SAP-JEE.sca, SAP_BUILDT.sca and SAP JTECH.sca) and check them in.

But the issue is that the list is empty, I am not able to select anything to check in. I search my install drive, c:\usr but didnt find any sap*.sca files.

I am using NW07 preview edition, does it have limitations?

How do I check the trasport directory is good? where is it?

Thanks you

Hi,

I think you have not configured anything for checkin.

to check in you can copy the required SCAs after download to the inbox. Once you copy they will be visible in the check in tab for you to checkin.

Transport directory is the directory used by CMS to do the transports. Usually it will will be a shared directory in the CMS server.

If you go to the tab Domain data: There you will be able to see the transport directory path if its configured. If you do not see anything there then I think you need to even configure that.

To more about the transport directory kindly follow the third link mentioned above.
