Hi all,

I am from computer background with .net experience and some sap bw knowledge. I am willing to switch into sap HR, can anybody tell me is it easier to get into job after getting trained and without previous HR knowledge (Currently I am living in europe). or this sap module is only for people with previous Human resource background.

Hi Rayan!

Having programming experience helps you a lot in this case.

I think the easyest way to have an overview in SAP-HR is to click <a href="http://help.sap.com/erp2005_ehp_02/helpdata/en/80/ea89395eb58c4f9d0c3e837cf0909d/frameset.htm">here...</a>

This site is the offical SAP Help site and you must find here every single detail with the "ordinary" system behavior!

If you want me to send you a draft about "step-by-step" in the HR send your e-mail.

THIS GUIDE IS A SELF MADE GUIDE - describes my idea about how to begin with HR and how to implement you knowledge into SAP HR.

best regards,

Zsolt

Hi Rayan!

I think you should not be as pessimist as described.

For an SAP Consultant there will be always opportunities on the market. This is true that only the high qualified will be in the position to choose for themselves between the jobs.

The requirements you described are normal in HR field as well, BUT these are the barriers to become an Consultant. I would suggest you to look for some Junior SAP HR Consultant positions, where the salary is clearly lower than in the experienced position, but the trainings, projects are alive and you are completely involved! And the expected 1-2 years are not taken as seriously

I don't know if I can help you with this, but use the links in case of need:

I wish you all the best on your job-hunting session )

In case you dont have any more question, reward points if you are satisfied!

Zsolt
