I have two Production Orders for different finished goods. For both these Production Orders, all operations have been completed.
But when I use Change Production Order (CO02) -> Ctrl-F7 -> Goto -> Costs -> Analysis, it does not show any Target and Actual Costs for one order.
For the other order, it shows this data correctly.
In the Controlling tab of both the orders, the data maintained is same i.e. both the orders have the same Costing Variants for Planned and Actual Costs, same RA keys, Variant Keys etc.
What could be the reason ?
Thanks and Regards
Dear customer,
Before variances are calculated Targets costs are displayed "On-the-fly"
in various reports such as KKBC_ORD and the cost analysis report in
the production order. Essentially the system is estimating what the
Target costs will be once variances are run.
This prediction is based on the customizing for the Target cost version
in transaction OKV6 as in turn will the "real" calculation of the Target
costs via the variance calculation.
So in OKV6 the Target cost will be based on preliminary costing on the
order, an alternative cost estimate or the current standard cost
estimate. Importantly if the choosen option is not fulfilled e.g. no
current standard cost estimate, the target costs will not be predicted
or calculated.
Once the status VCAL has been set, so variances are calculated on the
order, this prediction of Target costs no longer occurs as the system
now expects Target costs were calculated during the variance calculation
Again refering to the customizing, if the selection in OKV6 for Target
cost is not found messages such as KV151, KV154 and KV172 are generated
in the message log of the variance calculation. Depending on if these
messages are customized they may appear as warnings or be suppressed
completely (see OPR4_KKS1).
In which case the status on the order will become VCAL, but no Target
costs will appear in the reports. As even though no Target costs could
be calculated the reporting feature only reads the status VCAL.
Hope this information helps you.
Kind regards,
Carmen
