calculate EMI dynamically using percentage

hi experts,

When we are a generating report,I have 3 kf. like Loan amt., EMI, Percentage.

eg:

ID Loan Amt, EMI Percentage

101 1,00,000

Note: (Loan amt.* percentage = EMI)

Here I have ID and Loan Amt. When I supposed to execute the report

System should promt us "How much percentage"

After entering the Percentage system should dispaly EMI dynamically.

Is it possiable or not, if yes pl. give me the step by step procedure. help me to do this.

Vijay,

Its possible to create a prompt for numbers. You will have to use formula variable, to do this create a formula (local or ckf), and when you see the editor, right click on the formula variable to create a formula variable of type - manual entry.

The rest of the steps will be straightforward, use this formula variable in your calculation.
