Hi Experts,
I am totally new about workflow. Workflow customizing is necessary before any kind of development starts for workflow project.
I wanted to do the technical person do the customizing or the BASIS people will do that part??
If the technical people will do the customizing then what we supposed to do??
Please tell me what is the need of cutomizing, how etc....
Regards,
Neha

Hi Neha,
Those things are done by your basis consultant.
Major steps involved in it are defining the WF-BATCH user.
Workflow Number ranges, Adjusting the HR tables etc.
Rest all you can do through auto-customization.
Rather than waiting for someone to reply you can start searching sdn for more on it.
Hope it helps.

Raj

The first step you can take is have the workflow configured Open up SWU3 and it will give you a listing of activities to be performed for the successful activation of worklof within the system.
You can then follow up with the many blogs present on sdn - simple workflow calls for mails are a good start
