Deadline monitoring in n-step BADI workflow

We are trying to implement deadline monitoring in the n step badi PO approval workflow. The requirement is to route the PO to the current and next approver if the current approver does not respond withing 24 hours and so on. We have used a recursive subworkflow for this (WS14000146 is being called within WS14000146) if the processing obsolete outcome is triggered at the approvel/rejection step.

The problem is that I dont find the agents being updated after the deadline has elapsed. Is there any way to verify if the BADI is called after the deadline passes by. Any help would be most appreciated.

Deadline monitoring can only be used to send reminders if the deadline has passed , it is not possible to forward workitem from one approver to next approver.

problem also here during deadline monitoring , badi is not called.
