RFC Communicatio failure

Dear Exerts,

I am receiving RFC Communication failure error when moving some transport requests to system so that we are not able to import the transports.

Here below i am giving you the TMS alert viewer::

RFC error: Error when opening an RFC connection

Could not start transport control program tp

Message no. TP608 Diagnosis

There was an attempt to start the transport control program tp using the local RFC interface. An error occurred here.

Error code: 3

RFC error text: Error when opening an RFC connection</b>

The strange thing is the RFC issue seems to be intermittent.

Could you please advise me where might be the wrong and how i proceed further i to solve this.

Hello rajesh,

If RFCs are ok but not working means this is the problem of weak RFCs for this u need to go STMS and press DICO which deletes the transports maintained then reinstall it again..if u need any info regarding installations of RFCs please let me know.

Check SM59 and make sure the RFC connections are ok

Yes, I checked it.RFC test connection was fine.
