Suggestions pls...Data Archiving project stategy planning

Hi frnds,

I have done 2 basic projects on data archiving where my task was clearly defined and I was doing archiving with SARA tcode.Now I have been given a high level assignment where i have to sit with client and propose them a archiving strategy plan as this is the first time they are considering to archive their data.

I confused ..how should I start off...what should i take into considerations.....

Suggestion will be rewarded.

Hi

First you have to analyse the data in tables with the help of a Basis guy about the size of table data, which transactional data tables are to be archived first

and where to keep the archived data etc

then after all discussions you have to start your SARA tcode job.
