cproject wid dms

we are using cproject 3.1 and going to integrate that wid DMS.

Can anyone give some details how to go for that ?

Hi,

cProjects: Project Type: Activate Function SAP DMS

Activate Object Link for DMS

DMS: Specify Default Document Types per cProjects System

i have activated sap dms for project type but the problem is ...i cant see the DMS tab in cproject.

Hi Ram,

Check this:

cProjects -> Define Object Links for Documents in DMS

-> Object Type = 0EASYDMS

-> Active = checked

-> Destination - RFC destination of DMS system is provided. If DMS resides on the same system, use NONE

Apart from this, do the settings in DMS system that I have mentioned earlier.

hi reema,

thnks for ur valuable inputs. Now i am bit confused when i go for cproject customization, i find two objects for document...

one is...cProjects -> Define Object Links for Documents in DMS...there i find object <b>0EASYDMS</b>

second one is...cProjects -> Connection to external systems -> Object links in SAP systems -> make settings for the linked SAP objects -> <b>0DOCUMENT</b>

my confusion is...wich object in these two should i make enable in order to connect to DMS ?

thnks for ur reply. Now the problem is wen i m doing IMG setting in DMS system, i cant find the object link DPR_OBJLNK to attach to document type.

how can we map the fields of xml with the fields in cprojects

please its very urgent

HI Ram,

To grant that allways the currenct screens and authorizations were

called please maintain also the value "1" into the "Authorization"

column. For further informations on this maintainance please see the

attached note 375452. It's important that you not enter the mentioned

screen number wihtout the leading "1" as this number is added

automatically by the system (e.g. object MARA 1201 maintain like MARA

201). You can do this in customizing under:

Transaction SPRO

> Cross-Application-Component

> Document Management

> Control Data

> Define screen for object links

If you need the dynpro number or object you will find all standard SAP

objects and their screen number in function module CV130 (Screens) by

transaction SE80. Please maintain all necessary SAP objects.

Afterwards you have to add the object also to the specific document type in transaction DC10. For furhter information please see also the following link:
