Hi,
I have installed EP,Webdynpro,R/3 in my laptop.As SLD configurations are not done properly iam not able to get the output of Webdynpro applications.It is showing error. Even R/3 is not properly set.R/3 has been set in VMware.Please advise how to sortout this problem.

Here are the basic steps
1. Goto the SLD and make sure its running. The link for the sld should be http://<host>:50<instance number>00/sld. So if you instance number is 00, then your link would be http://<host>:50000/sld
2. You need to synchronize you're R3 system with the SLD so the SLD has your R3 information. I think it may be transaction RZ70, however, you'll need to research this more.
3. You need to configure the portal to point to the SLD in step 1. Goto the Visual Administrator --> Cluster --> <Service Instance> --> SLD Data Supplier
- They'll be about 3 tabs and you need to add the link above and the user account information to two of them. Once you add the info, there is a CIM Test button you can click to ensure its connected ok.
Once the SLD is set up, you can configure the JCO connection for the webdynpro connections.
