Can't see alert Message

Hi Guys,

I configured the alert sucessfully. I tested it by running RSALERTTEST Prog and sucessfully got an alert message in Alert Inbox.

Now when i tried to test the alert in a scenario it failed ( i.e i didn't got any message in inbox).

Let me tell you what i did.

1. In a file->XI->file scenario i wrote wrong namespace and as a result i can see mapping error in SXMB_MONI on running the scenario.

2. But in Alert Inbox didn't see any error message.

3. I didn't set any alert rule also. I simply chose "No Restriction" Radio button . and rule active .

what is the role of personalization and subscription in alert inbox..?

Do i need to set any alert rule as I just want to catch all sort of exception ?

I have made the entry of FQDN at both places in SMICM and as well as in Exchange Profile.

Am i correct...?

BTW what is the solution....?

In that thread, this is the key point,
