Table apply filter on nodes having non-singleton child nodes
I am facing a problem while trying to filter a node(bound to a Table UI Element) which has a nested non-singleton node.
The data of the nested node would be Populate and shown as a popup. The user can change the data displayed and close the popup.
Such changes can made to the nested data of each and every parent record.
On apply the table level filter using the apply_filter( ) method of the Table Handler class, the data loaded/changed at the nested node level is completely lost.
I figured out that the apply_filter( ) method retrieves the data in an internal table, filters the internal table and bind it back to the Node. Hence the data of the nested is lost due to this operation. in short apply_filter( ) does not operate Node/Element level.
Is this a drawback of the apply_filter( ) functionality or is there an alternative way of automatic filtering.
