Need some info regarding UDDI Client , Server Configuration in CE7.1

Hi All,

I have configured my UDDI server and Client successfully by following steps:

UDDI Server :

Created two WS destinations :

UDDI_DESTINATION and CLASSIFICATION_DESTINATION

pointing to local uddi server .

UDDI Client :

Gave url for local UDDI server's inquiry,publish functionality.

But if i go to Netweaver Administrator , there is one link for 'UDDI Server'

configuration.In that there is one field "Discovery URL Host Name " .What is the

use of this ? What value am i supposed give in this field ?

Also in UDDI client if go to publish functionality , there i get three buttons for retrieving T-Model , Business Object etc where i can only add Business object , service etc.But i dont find any way to publish the same to my

UDDI server registry .

Does my first question have anything to do with the second problem ?

Kindly help.I am using CE7.1 version.

As to your 2nd question specifically, <a href="http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nwce10/helpdata/en/45/4a0b7ceb263b1ae10000000a1553f6/content.htm">this</a> page contains information about the use of the <u>Discovery URL Host Name</u> field.

Hi Ivaylo,

Finally i got what i wanted.Basically in CE7.1-SP01 there is no UI given for publishing service to the registry in the UDDI client .Instead we can use the APIs of ESRegWSSi service to publish a webservice developed on CE7.1 server to its

local service registry.
