well in vd51 can i add more columns because we want to add the material chemical and mechanical properties too.

is there any user exit available for the above

Sorry to interrupt, but I want to clarify the way to solve this issue.

So, in order to add more fields in customer material info record (VD51), you need an access key to modify its screen or something?

For those access key, abapers usually know which key to use. Correct?

Yes,

To do any changes to std SAP prog /screen we need to have access key, which will be given to a ABABer who is already registred as a developer from the company with SAP.

But full responsibility of any problems associated with developemnt will be your responsibility.

It may create problem during upgreade also. Please take the step after knowing all the problems associated with this change.

If there is no USEREXIT for a STD program u can change it with the help of ABARer but u need Access key for the same.
