I am doing a ECC 5.0 Install and on my CD I have two paths, a Netweaver 04 Support SR1 and myERP 2004. I need to load the ABAP application server, do I do the myERP ABAP system or the Netweaver 04 Support ABAP System?

Hi Clint Walker,

The Netweaver 04 SR1 will have the ABAP Server and Netweaver components.(which will not have ECC).

The myERP2004 will also have the ABAP Server with ECC function.

If you want only ABAP Server go for NW04 SR1, myERP2004 also will have but it will consumpts lot of space and memory

Hi,

I wanna build a test system with SAP ECC 5.0 SR1/MSSQL.

Do i need to install Solution manager3.2 to genearate key which is a must for mySAP ERP2004.

“As of mySAP ERP 2004 SR1 you must install the SAP Solution Manager for your mySAP ERP system landscape.

A key is required to perform the installation of SAP ECC 5.0 SR1. You generate this key with your SAP Solution Manager.”

The above lines in quotes are from ECC 5.0 SR1 install guide.

Also help me in providing the hardware requirements for ECC 5.0 /mssql2000/win2k3
